Ported And Dyed Husqvarna 572 XP By C&S Custom Saws

| | , ,

This Husqvarna 572 XP has been ported and dyed by C&S Custom Saws – they do a great job 👏

The 572 is a 70.6 cc, 5.8 hp pro Husqvarna Chainsaw that weighs in at 14.5 lbs (6.6 kgs). It’s often compared to the 372 XP, which is arguably a tougher saw (it lasts forever), but the 572 is faster and lighter.

Let’s check out this modded 572 XP.

This 572 XP is obviously ported and dyed black.

They shared the saw in the Husqvarna Chainsaws FB group, where it got some of the following comments and questions.

Drew said:

I like the black plastics in theory but in the real world the bright colors make saws easy to find, maybe orange pull start handle lol.

A lot of dudes have this same concern about dyeing chainsaws black.

Custom saws replied, “I could put orange stripes on it 😂.”

Clay asked how the dye holds up to scratches, to which they replied, “They need to be quite deep scratches to see the orange again.”

Kevin asked:

How do you weld the exhaust? Brace weld? Tig? Looks mint…

Custom saws replied, “I braze them.”

And Steven said:

I did one in cammo was great but I put it down for a cuppa and cannot find it now.

That’s also the problem with army chainsaw versions like this 281 XP.

We’ve shared other pics of @customsaw’s work in this Husqvarna T540 XP review and STIHL 020 T review.

  1. At that price there should be a full wrap handle bar at least and bigger west coast dogs and west coast clutch cover
