Cubic Mini Wood Stoves Australia, UK, Europe, South Africa, Rest Of World

| | , ,

Cubic Mini Wood Stoves are made in Saint-Laurent, Quebec, Canada.

Alex Tzabanakis is the inventor of the Cubic Mini Grizzly and Cub, and first designed and manufactured these tiny stoves for use on his sailing boat.

He shares this on their About Us page:

Having my own fabrication company here in Montreal, Canada, helped me in deciding to dedicate my engineering and manufacturing experience and resources to solve my problem.

The Cubic Mini Wood Stove was then born, solving my previous cold and humidity issues while bringing a form of coziness that words cannot describe.

So for this obvious reason, it’s easy to buy and have a Grizzly or Cub Wood Stove delivered to your home in Canada. Delivery to the USA is also very straightforward and usually only costs about $80.

But what about buying a Cubic Mini in Australia, the UK, South Africa, or the rest of the world?

Here’s what you need to know.

Yes, you can buy and have a Cubic Mini Wood Stove delivered to almost anywhere you live in the world.

If you visit cubicminiwoodstoves.com from the UK, you’ll see the price displayed in pounds. If you visit the site from Australia, you’ll see the price displayed in Australian dollars. And if you visit from Europe, you’ll see the price in Euros.

For example, as I put this together in early February 2023, these are the prices in the 5 currencies CMWS supports.

You can see that in 4 out of the 5 currencies, Cubic Mini has a sale

Some currencies aren’t supported, so if you visit from the likes of New Zealand, you’ll see the price in $AU. There are 5 supported currencies and you can toggle between them by clicking on the flag at the bottom left of the site.

They do deliver to most countries within reason. The only stated exceptions are that they do not deliver to France or Germany because these countries do not allow uncertified wood stoves into the country.

Cubic Mini Wood Stove Shipping

Shipping is expensive, and it will, unfortunately, make a Cubic Mini Wood Stove too pricey for many.

In their FAQs, Cubic Mini states:

Canadian orders are delivered via Canada Post.

U.S orders are delivered via USPS or DHL – depending on your preference and location.

International order are delivered via DHL.

Also keep in mind that in most countries, you will also need to pay other taxes and fees to receive the wood stove. I know in New Zealand, you’d be paying another 15% GST on top of the purchase price.

The shipping cost itself can be prohibitive as well. It varies from week to week but can end up being hundreds of dollars depending on the weight and size of the order.

You can use the Build Your Order tool on Cubic Mini’s site to determine how much everything, including shipping, is going to cost you.

Before ordering, it’s also worth reading their shipping policies which outline delivery times and what happens in the event of damage. Shipping insurance is a must (in my opinion)!

Does Cubic Mini Ship To…?

So yes, Cubic Mini Wood Stoves can be shipped to most countries around the world. As far as I’m aware, they do not use dealers or agents in other countries, but rather, you need to buy from cubicminiwoodstoves.com.

If the shipping ends up making things too expensive for you, consider the Pipsqueak Wood Stove in the UK, or these other small log burners for cabins.

I still need to do my research on good alternatives that are available in Australia and New Zealand. The Caboose or Dwarf Wood Stove is another good alternative for those living in the USA.
