Are there Cubic Mini Wood Stove discount codes?

Cubic Mini sells both the GRIZZLY and the CUB mini wood stoves, along with everything needed for a complete installation.

On their checkout page, they have a field where you can enter a “gift card or discount code.”

But do they exist?

The answer: Yes, there are Cubic Mini gift cards, but no, there are not any discount codes… unless you’re buying 10+ units at once (details below).

However, Cubic Mini do run regular sales with discounts of up to 25% OFF.

Cubic Mini Coupon Codes

While there aren’t any coupon codes for Cubic Mini Wood Stove products, they are OFTEN having sales. There doesn’t even seem to be a reason for their sales – it’s not like Black Friday or Christmas, or anything – they’ll just be on sale.

However, they do run extra special promos on Black Friday and Cyber Week, and you can get better discounts during big sale days on the calendar.

At the time of writing this, it’s just a random Friday in February, and both the Cub and Grizzly are on sale.

If you want to save money on Cubic Mini Wood Stoves, you could wait for a sale. They seem to be frequent and the discounts are significant.

And while there is a field for a discount code on the site, I don’t believe there are any coupons.

On another page on their site, Cubic Mini actually states outright that there are no discount codes.

Here at Cubic mini Wood stoves, we manufacture our products and sell them right to the end user. This does not leave the typical wholesale/retail discounts.

We can offer a 10% discount if 10 stoves are purchased at once and we can offer a 15% discount if 10 complete setups are purchased at once.

Another alternative to a coupon code is using Afterpay which they detail on this page.

They state:

When customers are ready to check out at participating retailers, they select Afterpay as their payment method.

The customer pays 25% of the purchase total today. Afterpay settles with the retailer upfront.

The customer then owes the remaining interest-free payments to Afterpay, which are automatically debited from their account every two weeks.

So if it’s an emergency, you need heating asap, and don’t have the full amount immediately, this is an option. I’ve never used it myself, but I assume there will be extra fees along the way.

This service is only available in the USA and Canada.

However, the downside is that it costs $55.15 for a $50 gift card because it is posted out to you or the giftee.

But whether you buy a $50, $100, $200, or $500 voucher, you will end up paying 10% more for the privilege. There seems to always be a 10% premium when buying with a gift card. 

Not worth it!

If you know your friend wants something from Cubic Mini, best to ask them and buy it outright rather than using a gift card.

Cubic Mini Price Rises

As you would expect, there have been and will be price increases on these Canadian tiny wood stoves.

That’s another way to save money on a Cubic Mini Wood Stove – get one before the next price rise.

A while back they notified customers of an upcoming price rise (which has now been enacted).

They said:

Dear valued customer, during the past year we’ve all been affected by higher inflation costs.

The price of raw materials, labor, and transport have all increased significantly. We will continue to offer our products at the same price until the depletion of the current inventory. However, future production batches will be impacted by a slight price increase.

I’m 99% sure there are not. You can always reach out to the company if you want to try, but generally speaking, the sale price is going to be the best deal available.

There’s always Black Friday when the deals are potentially slightly better, but it could be a long time to wait.
