My local STIHL dealership gave me a bunch of old STIHL posters, and these are 5 of the most interesting ones.
Firstly, an old MS 192 T top handle saw poster which would make a great logo for us (Fire and Saw, you see).
Next is this poster marketing the “Easy Start System and Chain Quick Tensioning for the COMPACT series.”
The STIHL 036 QS is featured in the next poster. It was the first STIHL Chainsaw model to have the Quickstop Chain Brake.
“Let go of the handle — and the chain stops.”
Here is a general ad for the STIHL FarmBoss series of chainsaws, which includes models like the 271, 290, 390, 391, 311, etc.
And the STIHL MiniBoss series of chainsaws, sometimes designated MB, but which wasn’t used very much.
