I recently borrowed the STIHL AL 301 fast charger along with a couple of batteries and chainsaws from my local STIHL Shop.
This is a really short review to say the battery charger works well and is indeed very fast.
I was using the charger to charge the AP 300 S and AP 500 S batteries. These are new batteries from STIHL that have the best power-to-weight ratios.

The STIHL AL 301 is equipped with a built-in cooling fan. This fan helps regulate temperature during charging, preventing overheating and ensuring optimal performance.
Compared to slower chargers like the AL 101, the AL 301 is noticeably louder due to the fan operation. Placing the charger in a well-ventilated area can help maintain efficiency and reduce excessive noise caused by overheating or dust buildup.
