Here are some general reviews and chatter from the Husqvarna Saws FB group.

There’s nothing wrong with them. They have good mid range torque and if the price is right buy it.

For all those commenters saying they are heavy just harden up and get a 395 and use it all day for weight training. We are breeding a very weak generation.

I’ve had one for about 2 years, I don’t recall what year model. Farm and home property stuff. It’s been a good saw for me.

It’s a heavy bastard. Power to weight isn’t great compared to a bunch of other saws.

I read somewhere that certain years had some bearing issues, side case maybe?

That being said, I still like mine. The Pig has done everything I’ve needed.

The first 3yrs or so the 570 was junk. Every one of them blewup because of a machining/casting error for where the crank bearings got pressed in. Was a few thousandths too little. Put extreme pressure on the crank. The 2nd gen 570, not sold in the USA, had the issue fixed and those were good saws. But if the 1st gen saw was rebuilt with a 2nd Crankcase gasket, absolutely zero issues and was rock solid reliable.
