There’s no shortage of vintage Homelite chainsaw ads, and we’re collecting and showcasing them all here.

You can buy original copies and prints of many of these ads on eBay.

Here are some examples of good sellers:

Now, let’s get into the ads!

A 1970s Christmas ad for the Homelite E-Z Chainsaw.

Homelite 150 advertising from 1971.

They were offering a half-price toy chainsaw with it as well!

“Clean up with a Homelite chain saw.”

In-depth ad for the Homelite XL-913.

The world’s lightest direct-drive chainsaw, the Homelite XL-12.

The 12.5 lb Homelite Super XL-12.

“No other tool does so much on the farm and campsite.”

This is an ad for the C-9 and C-7 chainsaws which were released in 1963.

Another ad for the XL-12.

“Revolutionary new 12-pound Homelite cuts 12-inch logs in 10 seconds, fells trees up to 3 feet in diameter.”

And this is an ad for the newer version of the XL-12: it’s the Homelite XL-Automatic.

This 58.2 cc model was produced from 1971 to 1979.

This Homelite ad is from 1972 and features the lightweight 150, which was being sold with a free sweatshirt.

The 77 cc Homelite C-5 Farm Chain Saw, made 1962 – 1964.

“It can be converted from Direct to Gear Drive in just 9 minutes!”

You could even convert it into a guitar 😂

An ad for Homelite saws in general, featuring the XL-103.

The Homelite XL2 with Twin Trigger.

The Homelite 5-20, made 1955 – 1956.

“It’s NEW… It’s alive with power. 5 HP—20 pounds.”

A July 1957 ad for the  Homelite EZ-6 Direct Drive chainsaw and 6-22 Gear Drive chainsaw.

This next ad is for one of Homelite’s first chainsaws, hence why it mentions it’s a “One Man Chain Saw,” which was not the norm at the time.

Here’s a fun ad featuring the story of 7 people who had never run a saw before and found they could handle a Homelite.

Another advert for the Homelite Super XL-12.

The specs sheet for the Homelite 3100G.

Get a free jacket like Don Maynard’s when you buy a Homelite chainsaw!

And lastly (for now), an ad for the 114cc Homelite Model 5-30, made 1953 – 54.
