The STIHL Contra Hip Flask is next in our Random STIHL Merch series.
This is a small stainless steel hip flask with the old STIHL logo on the front.
Unfortunately, it’s not for sale in most countries. Amazon has the same thing, but without the STIHL logo here.
And here are some more pics.
I’m based in New Zealand, and this hip flask is for sale from the STIHL Shops here.
The listing states:
Crafted from stainless steel, this high-quality hip flask promises durability and a sleek finish, ensuring your favorite beverage is preserved in style.
Designed to mimic the classic canister, with the iconic STIHL logo on it’s front, this hip flask adds a touch of nostalgia to your collection. Holds 125 ml of liquid.
The STIHL Contra also had the same logo, which is perhaps why it’s called the STIHL Contra Hip Flask.
It costs NZ $35, or about US $20.
This logo was used on STIHL Chainsaws and other products (even their tractors) from 1936 – 1977.
The STIHL “slant logo” (that is used today) entered use in 1977.
Overall, it’s a cool little hip flask and a great new piece of STIHL merch.
