This is a small stainless steel hip flask with the old STIHL logo on the front.

I’m not 100% sure why it’s called the STIHL “Contra” hip flask; other than that, the STIHL Contra also had the same logo.’
It costs NZ $35, or about US $20.
This logo was used on STIHL Chainsaws and other products (even their tractors) from 1936 – 1977.
The STIHL “slant logo” that we know today entered use in 1977, after the “sawtooth logo” that we see on the hip flask.
Overall, it’s a cool little hip flask and a great new piece of STIHL merch.
