McCulloch Super 33 Chainsaw Specs, Features, Pics, Advertising

| | ,

The Super 33 was one of McCulloch’s early lightweight “one-man” saws and was heavily marketed toward farmers, ranchers, and firewood users in the mid-1950s. Despite being considered lightweight at the time, the powerhead alone still weighed about 21 lb.

The saw used an unusual flat-style McCulloch carburetor design that collectors still talk about today. Numerous attachments were available using the same engine platform, including augers, brush cutters, and utility drives, as well as a bow saw.
