I had one in for sale at one of my estate sales. It was huge and heavy. But I got it running.

Sold it cheap at the end. Wish I would have kept it.

That ($265) was considered affordable?! Based on 1953 dollars, that’s the equivalent of over $3200 today.

Remember, at that time chain saws were a rarity. When they first hit if a logger could double or triple his output if the machine kept running.

There were people using the Disston two man saws still as all this was new since ww2. Crazy time.
