For sale is the jubilee edition Partner S50 chainsaw shown in the pictures. It’s a lightly used, well-preserved piece.

The “Jubilee” on the Partner S50 refers to a special 30th‑anniversary edition of the saw, commemorating Partner AB’s history from 1949 to 1979.
Essentially, it’s a limited-run, semi‑professional model built on the tried‑and‑trusted R16 chassis, yet spruced up to mark three decades of Swedish sawmaking.
In short, it’s not just any S50—it’s the celebratory version that honors the brand’s legacy and craftsmanship.
The R16‑family saws (like S50/S65) are known for being very fast and powerful for their size, sometimes used in “3 cubic‑inch race saw” competitions.
Partner was bought by Electrolux and merged into Husqvarna’s OPE lineup in the mid-2000s, so many parts (ignition coils, clutches, gaskets, bearings) are interchangeable with Husqvarna or Jonsered models.
Collectors often restore these saws successfully by rebuilding carbs, replacing coils, and adding Husqvarna parts when originals are hard to source.
