We already have an article on the Husqvarna 65 in which we share the different versions and some of the history.

This post features the L65, the fifth and final version of the 65, which was released in 1972 and thought to have been made in the Tomos Factory in Yugoslavia.

The L65 featured here is on eBay with seller ‘szabsa76,’ who’s saws we have featured extensively on the blog.

Husqvarna L65

The listing description states (translated):

Vintage Husqvarna L65 chainsaw, in good working condition

Husqvarna L65 chainsaw with good compression, in very nice, well-preserved condition.

All functions work flawlessly; it starts easily both cold and warm, and the engine sounds excellent.

In this condition, it is considered a true collector’s item. A must-have for anyone looking to expand their collection with a vintage machine, or for those seeking a reliable chainsaw for woodworking tasks.

The guide bar is not original; only a sticker has been applied to it.
