Cardboard Fireplace Ideas
Marcie from @marciemakesalot shares tips on how to make a cardboard fireplace:
I made a cardboard play fireplace.
Both my kiddos have a love for cozy campfires, fireplaces, and cardboard boxes 😆 Recycled toys for the win!
This craft began after I got tired of looking at all the boxes littered around the living room and from going a little stir crazy from being at home all the time. Is this thing over yet?
I cut out the pieces of cardboard for the bricks and let my boys color them before hot gluing them in place. It was fun letting them be a part of it and created something for us all to do together.

Crystal from @a.playful.day made this beautiful cardboard fireplace and shared:
This was created using cardboard boxes, some tape and paint! To create a more realistic look, I used the baking powder and paint technique. The baking powder reacts to the water content in the paint, causing it to foam up. When using it, it creates a lovely textured look.

We don’t have a fireplace in our house, so I wanted to make a cardboard version as a place for our stockings! My mom knit these stockings, and Rosie has been having so much fun playing Santa and filling them with gifts. 😊
The base of the fireplace is a pizza oven I made earlier in the year. I made a mantle that is detachable so we can turn it back into a pizza oven. The holly is paper and I painted some bells red as the berries. I’ll post in my stories and cardboard crafts highlights how I put it together!
