The STIHL MS 363 is a reasonably new pro chainsaw model from STIHL.
It weighs the same as the earlier 59 cc, 4.6 hp STIHL MS 362, but it’s a more powerful model at 62.6 ccs and 4.8 hp.
At this time, it’s only available in Mexico, a few South American countries (such as Brazil), and some Eastern European countries.

Hello, I’m from southern Brazil and I’ve always worked with the MS 361 and recently we acquired the MS 363.
It’s a much superior saw, there’s no oscillation at idle, it plays the 16″ saber very well, the only negative point is that it’s very noisy compared to the old MS 361.
Note here the MS 362 did not register due to its electronic carburetor because here in the south the climate varies a lot and it started to cause a lot of problems.
It’s hard to find information about the saw, but one Reddit user, ‘leonme21,’ said it “seems to be the manual carb version of the 400.1 coming as M Tronic beginning of next year.”
This is confirmed in a post on Instagram where user @festmeter_holz shares (translated from German):
Stihl has confirmed us: the MS 363 is a saw based on the new MS 400 (pictured), but it does not have electronic motor management (M-Tronic) but has a conventional carburetor. It is intended for the American market, not for Germany, other European countries as well as Scandinavia.
