Our friend Alex, who sells restored vintage chainsaws on eBay (here: szabsa76), sent over these pictures of his latest chainsaw.
It’s a replica STIHL military version Contra!
At this stage, I’m unsure what the price is or the history of this particular saw, but I expect it to listed on eBay shortly, and to get a fuller description from him.
I don’t know what proportion of the saw and kit is original military, and what is restored and/or replica. I believe the green hood, at the very least, is original, but I will update this as soon as I know.
UPDATE: This is a REPLICA, and Alex potentially already has a buyer for it, so it is unlikely to end up on eBay.

The crate is a Hungarian civil defense box from the 1970s, which was full of brand-new gas masks.
