Here are some comments on the 41 from the Husqvarna Saws FB group:

  • Rand said, “Absolutely nothing wrong with a 41/141. I actually own, use and work on them. Great little saws for around the property.”
  • Chris said, “Those little saws will surprise you how well they really do run. Especially with a muffler mod and some port reshaping.”
  • Adam said, “For what it is, the 41 rips!”

I have a 41 I have used for 5 years on and off. Cut a couple of trees down and bucked them. Cut some firewood.

Haven’t cranked in a year. Took it to the shop to go through and before I did. I pulled the chord like 7-8 times and it started up running.

People might not like them but it’s been more reliable than some of my pro saws.

These machines notoriously leak [bar oil], you need to use gasket sealant where the pick up hose fits in the oil tank, and to where it sirs to the pump cylinder, also the delivery hose sits against the pump. Now you need to remove the oil cap, up in the top of the oil tank is the end of the breather pipe, find a suitable roll pin and press into the pipe to reduce its diameter, now push it up into the corner of the tank.
