Homelite XP 1100 Chainsaw Restoration (Chris Goldman)

| | ,

Here’s Chris Goldman’s next completed restoration: the 100cc Homelite XP 1100!

Chris shared this description with us:

Weighing in at nearly 30 pounds and swinging a 36‑inch bar, this is the Homelite XP1100 Gear Drive — a 100cc American‑built powerhouse from Homelite’s prime.

It runs a gear‑reduction drive system instead of a standard clutch, delivering massive low‑RPM torque through an all‑metal professional chassis built in the USA. Designed for heavy timber work, this rare survivor stands as proof of the era when Homelite was a true force in American saw history.

These are the before pictures, followed by more of the completed restoration!
