Husqvarna 35 VR Chainsaw Specifications and Reviews

| | ,

The Husqvarna 35 VR is a small 34cc chainsaw from the early 90s. It’s basically the same as the Husqvarna 35, but with an anti-vibration (VR) handlebar system rather than a rigid one.

Here’s a Facebook post we shared about the 35 VR, which received some interesting comments.

Clyde said:

Rebranded. Many companies did with that saw, I’ve got a Partner and 2 Skil branded ones. Great saws, kept the Partner in the RV for quite a few years and it saved me a few times.

To which Paul replied, “I had one in the early 90s I believe they were made by Frontier.”

Mark said:

Made by Frontier. I ran one back in the day along with similar looking Jonsered 361. Did nothing for my carpal tunnel Lol.

Timothy said:

I had one, it was made in 1985 and they date back to the 70s, exact same saws but they started without a chain brake, made in BC Canada by Trail products, wonderful little saw. Many brands used the exact saw, but different colors etc.

Mike said:

Everyone had that thing for a small cheap saw back in the day. It was made by Quadra industries in British Columbia Canada…

It was as one distributer put it a piece sh*t that ran good 😊😊😊😊

  • Alain said, “Made to compete against the McCulloch power-mac6 and mini-mac6.”
  • Steve said, “I have one, first saw I ever used in the late 70s. Earlier model though, no AV.”
  • Jimmy said, “Frontier mark 1/mark 2 copy.”
